01 — Philosophy
The ecosystem for creative production.
A 2,000 sq ft production house, workspace, and gathering room — so ideas have somewhere to be made.
The premise
A studio is a set of conditions
A studio isn't a room you rent. It's a set of conditions — light, quiet, the right gear, and people who take the craft seriously — in one place, so the work can start without friction.
Why we built it
We spent a decade working in borrowed rooms — rented stages, café edits, hotel seminars. OpenStudio is the fix: one permanent space where production, work, and gathering stop competing for the same floor.
How it is run
Access over ownership. Members move between the stage, the desks, and the seminar room as work demands. Nothing is decorative — every surface, light, and outlet is built for production. Quiet space, loud thinking.
Give people a clean room and the right tools, and they stop managing logistics and start making things that matter.
Ervan Luk — Founder, OpenStudio
How it stands
A standalone studio.
OpenStudio is its own company — one permanent space where production, work, and gathering no longer compete for the same floor. Access over ownership: members move between the stage, the desks, and the seminar room as work demands.
